The u3a is for people who want to keep active in mind and body, enjoy socialising, and are no longer in full time employment.
u3a Members also benefit from being able to join any of the growing number of Interest Groups which cover a wide variety of subjects. Some members join the u3a just to be able to participate in our friendly Groups led by knowledgeable and enthusiastic leaders.

This is the "home" page. The area between the menu at the top of the page and the blue page footer can contain anything you want in the way of content.
This sample page contains three examples of the "Media and Text Block". The top block holds text and an image. The second block includes an image and a 'u3a notice list' block. The lower block contains an image and a "Query Loop Block" which is set to display up to three events of category 'Meeting", linking to the page which shows the meeting details.
In between is a slider block which uses the 'Gutenslider' block provided by a third party plugin.
